IB Diploma equivalent to the Apolytirion


The IB Diploma is equivalent to the Apolytirion when combined with the Greek Ministry courses of Greek Language, Greek Literature and History

At Ionios School the IB Diploma Programme students get the equivalent to the Apolytirion, upon completion of the course, by attending the relevant courses, as required by the Greek Ministry of Education, and getting a passing grade in the internal exams. According to regulations set by the Greek Ministry of Education, these courses are compulsory and are taught and graded according to what applies to the Greek Lykeion.
